Baltimore Community Honors Fire Captain Killed In Horrific Crash On His Way To Work

The Baltimore Community is coming together to honor a Baltimore City Fire Captain who died following a horrific motorcycle accident earlier this month, officials state.

The Baltimore Police Department was pictured honoring the late Baltimore City Fire Captain, Anthony J. Workman, who passed away the morning of Friday, Sept. 2, after being involved in a motorcycle accident on his way to work the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Earlier this month, authorities from the Baltimore community offered their condolences to the family and loved ones of the outstanding Fire Captain after his tragic passing.

"He was an outstanding First Responder that was a pillar of strength, love, & unity within #BCFD. He represented us well through the Honor Guard & many other ways. He will be missed", states Chief Ford.

Workman was a 16 year veteran of the Baltimore City Fire Department, and was "admired by many", states Baltimore Fire officials. 

Captain Anthony J. Workman will be greatly missed.
